About Unclaimed Property

Claiming vs. Reporting

Claiming and reporting unclaimed property are two essential components of the overall cycle to ultimately return your unclaimed property to you.

Our goal is to return unclaimed property to its owners!

All citizens can search for free on ClaimItTn.gov to find and claim their unclaimed property. Businesses must report unclaimed property each year to allow the Division of Unclaimed Property to attempt to return it to its owners.

We offer the education and resources to support both claiming and reporting.
