Accountant 1

The Tennessee Department of Treasury impacts the lives of Tennesseans every day. Treasury is responsible for many of the financial operations of state government, including managing more than $60 billion in assets through its various investment programs. We administer the State’s Retirement Program, RetireReadyTN, which combines the state pension plan, Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System, and the State’s Deferred Compensation plan.




Attorney

Tennessee Department of Treasury | Legal, Compliance & Audit Division

The Legal, Compliance & Audit Division seeks an attorney to provide legal services for all programs within the department. The duties for this position involve both transactional work and occasionally representing the department in administrative law cases. At the present time, this position is primarily remote, with occasional required meetings in downtown Nashville.

Tennessee Department of Treasury | Legal, Compliance & Audit Division

The Legal, Compliance and Audit Division seeks an entry-level attorney to provide legal services for all programs within the department. The duties for this position involve both transactional work and occasionally representing the department in administrative law cases. At the present time, this position is primarily remote, with occasional required in-person meetings. It is anticipated that the department will regularly utilize its downtown Nashville office on a hybrid schedule in the future.

Disaster Recovery – Business Continuity Specialist

Tennessee Department of Treasury

Under direction, the Disaster Recovery – Business Continuity Specialist, Intermediate is responsible for professional, administrative, and technical work in business continuity and disaster recovery planning work of moderate difficulty during the design, development, maintenance, and testing of application or infrastructure disaster recovery plans.




Employer Education and Review Specialist

Tennessee Department of Treasury

The Employer Education and Review Specialist, as a component of the Outreach team, serves as the regional employer reporting contact, assisting local education agencies, political subdivisions, and higher education employers with the technical submission of monthly reporting files to the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System (TCRS) defined benefit pension plan.




Human Resources Technician 1

The Human Resources Division for the Tennessee Department of Treasury provides administrative support to over 270 employees. HR oversees the employment life cycle through various HR disciplines and works as a strategic partner internally and externally to enhance organizational effectiveness. HR is seeking a Human Resources Technician to assist with conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, and document review.  The successful candidate will work in the Treasury’s Nashville, Tennessee office.

Internal Auditor

Tennessee Department of Treasury

The Internal Auditor is responsible for auditing work of increasing complexity involving performing data analysis scripts/robots which supports the Comptroller’s audits of almost 600 TCRS pension plan participating employers. The Internal Auditor is also responsible for performing continuous data analytics to independently review TCRS and Treasury operations.




Investment Risk and Compliance Analyst

The Investment Risk and Compliance Analyst will focus on assessing and monitoring various investment and noninvestment risks, including daily monitoring of investment exception reports and analyzing investment activities and holdings relative to legal/policy requirements and other parameters. The division manages funds and related activities including state employee workers’ compensation (WC), liability claims filed against the State, Criminal Injuries Compensation (CIC), Sexual Assault Forensic Examination (SAFE) reimbursement, Electronic Monitoring Indigency Fund (EMIF) reimbursement, and various risk management and insurance coverage activities on behalf of the State and in coordination of its agencies.
