State Treasurer David H. Lillard, Jr. reelected to 7th term by 112th Tennessee General Assembly
Nashville, TN – State Treasurer David H. Lillard, Jr. on Wednesday was elected to a seventh term by acclamation of the 112th Tennessee General Assembly, during a Joint Convention held January 13, 2021.
Treasurer Lillard will continue to lead the Tennessee Department of Treasury for the next two years in its work to serve Tennesseans through strengthening the financial management of more than $80 billion in our state’s resources. Tennessee has earned nearly $39.2 billion through investment earnings during Treasurer Lillard’s time as State Treasurer.
Treasurer Lillard thanked the 112th General Assembly for giving him this opportunity to continue service to Tennesseans as State Treasurer.
“I, along with the employees of the Tennessee Department of Treasury, take pride in serving our constituents and providing a financial boost to our state,” Treasurer Lillard said. “I am humbled by the opportunity to continue to serve my state in this capacity.”
