Backup and Disaster Recovery Engineer

The Backup and Disaster Recovery Engineer is a critical role within the Tennessee Department of Treasury, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backup and disaster recovery systems to ensure the security, availability, and integrity of sensitive financial and operational data. The Service Counselor 2 represents the Department of Treasury by providing prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service. Each call will be answered with a warm and friendly tone that demonstrates willingness to assist, empathy, and concern. This role serves as a key liaison between TCRS and employer contacts, ensuring accurate and timely support throughout the lifecycle of their participation in the retirement system.

Service Counselor 2- Benefit Estimates

Tennessee Department of Treasury

This position is responsible for calculating retirement estimates for a defined benefit for TCRS members and providing customer service for TCRS members. At the present time, this position is primarily remote, with occasional required in-person meetings. It is anticipated that the department will regularly utilize its downtown Nashville office on a hybrid schedule in the future. Job location is subject to change at the discretion of the Department. The successful candidate should live in Tennessee and provide sufficient internet connection.
