The Joint Audit Committee of the Board of Trustees for the Chairs of Excellence Trust and the College Savings Trust Fund Program will meet at 9:40 a.m. (Central Time) on Thursday, October 7, 2021.  This will be a virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams.  This meeting will permit participation by electronic or other means of communications pursuant to T.C.A. § 8-44-108.

I believe the key to improving the financial outlook of Tennesseans begins with getting our young people on the path to post-secondary education which helps qualify them to enter the 21st-century workplace that Tennessee needs. That path begins with saving.

TNStars Giving Away Three $529 Scholarships for College Savings Month

Tennessee residents age 21 and older can enter the scholarship giveaway online at TNStars.com/scholarship on behalf of a child 15 or under, now through September 30, 2019.

Governor Lee has issued a proclamation declaring September as College Savings Month in Tennessee. To celebrate, State Treasurer David H. Lillard, Jr. and the TNStars College Savings 529 Program are giving away three $529 scholarships this month.

Ten kids from across the state of Tennessee have been awarded $1,000 scholarships by the TNStars® College Savings 529 Program.

Ten kids from across the state of Tennessee have been awarded $1,000 scholarships by the TNStars® College Savings 529 Program. TNStars, a program of the Tennessee Department of Treasury, hosted the TNStars Holiday Scholarship Giveaway in December. Tennessee adults could enter the contest on behalf of a child 15 or younger.
